Nothing wrong with being emotional for your father’s greatest achievement. Walz’s daughter and wife were crying too. Look, I’m Gen-X and we were taught as boys to toughen up and push our feelings down which is very unhealthy. It’s taken me decades to work that out and I’m still prone to do it if I don’t stop and think about it. So let the kid have his feelings. Anyone who disparages kids for something like this deserves a nice hard cross to the nose.
