He also didn’t hit the rim in almost all of his jumpers. Dude has touch amongst a lot of other skills
true. expectations in the playground increases when brehs see me. but i play like fryin ryan bowen, a maximum effort guy.
It's an old joke on the board going back to the oughts when it seemed like we were getting the 14th pick every year and using it on an undersized PF.
I like how after that second shot when Amen passed Reed the ball and he hit that deep 3, Amen goes "oh my God"...
I love it, this entire core outside Reed needs to improve its 3PT shooting. This is going to make them work a lot harder.
Oh God don't bring those days up. That's like the Middle Ages of being a Rockets fan. Full of blight and the black plague.
Reed's shooting looks to be putting some pressure on Jalen to perform. Jalen can probably see he's a real threat to replace him. I like what I saw out of Jalen there. He was more certain in his approach to attacking the basket. Last year he seemed hesitant and weak a lot of times when attacking. I have never seen someone get blocked more than him. If Jalen can fix that this year that could be enough to give him the contract.
For certain that's finna go down as a battle between a rookie and a 4th year guy and that rookie got fundamentals.
Hoping for the best for JG. I am curious how he will drive against players not on his own team this year, he looks stronger so hopefully the days of avoiding contact are over. I don't need him to drive like Cam, just don't shy away.
I pray Green doesn't attack like Cam. Cam mostly attacks in transition and attacking close outs in the half court which are inherently easier looks than the type of attacks Green does against mostly set defenses and still has a worse fg% 0-3 ft (64% vs 70%). Can doesn't have great touch around the rim. He currently can bulldoze or our jump his way to finishing and doesn't have Green's ability to finesse at awaked angles
