Pffft. Dubin’s stuff is nasty. His fb averages 95 but can be 96-97 with movement. When he’s at his best, he’s a righty Chris Sale, but generally he’s a LOT closer to Phil Maton than Dan Straily. Hate away.

Singleton is fine against righties. His OPS is like .750% against them. Against righties his OPS is like .450%. So - the Astros are going to try and coble together a situation where they get .750% from both sides through 2-3 players.
Can the Crane Collective finally do something about OF??? Yordan has no business making anything other than spot starts at LF, both for the betterment of the team and himself. You can live w Jake in CF but only if you get legit production from LF and RF. I just don't understand why they've neglected the position so much. I'm not the smartest baseball guy in the world but I'm pretty sure a legit OF would pay off in spades for the organization.
Chas had an .842 OPS last season, and a .786 OPS for his career coming to the season and Tucker is one of the best players in the game It's easy in hindsight to say we have no OFers, but there was absolutely no logical reason to think Chas McCormick would be a sub replacement level player and Tucker would miss half the season. There were a bunch of meh hitters available at the deadline, but one average hitter won't make a meaningful difference over 2 months.
BS, you cant tell me an avg hitter like Cahna, Winker Hays, Any of the Reds/Cards OF couldn't have made a difference.
This means Yordan is going to be playing a lot more LF, which is a good thing IMHO. Or Bregs will have to play some 1B.
