@AroundTheWorld @Salvy @tinman @CrixusTheUndefeatedGaul Yall condoning Israel deliberately attacking the US Military? On June 8, 1967, 34 American sailors of the USS Liberty lost their lives serving their country. These Americans died when Israel, America's "ally," launched a murderous attack on the virtually unarmed American intelligence ship. To this day, many Americans are unaware that this attack even took place. During the two hour assault there was two different American flags raised yet the attack still persisted. After the crew was rescued 16 hours later they were immediately ordered silent under threat of court martial "or worse" by command. This attack was not an "accident". Wow Israel selling secret military tech from the US to China. what a great ally! you can always count on israel for having the best interests of the USA in mind: If any of this makes someone uncomfortable like they have to defend israel then you're doing it wrong and simping for a foreign country
So what if it makes someone uncomfortable? Why is Israel so special that noboby can criticize it? If I can criticize the US government, I can criticize any government I want. Fu.ck Benjamin he's the Jewish Hitler, n fu.ck Hamas as well.
I agree completely but there are some that think israel can do no wrong and the world must defend and cater to them. How can people cry about antisemitism for any criticism of israel, but then whine about DEI? Doesn't make sense to me. Luckily many more people see what has gone on with that government. It's hard because folks grew up being told the zionist angle of israel, and to break that worldview much later in life is pretty hard, but as Jesus said, "the truth shall set you free".
The US government said that criticizing Israel is not antisemitic, so they can cry all they want. Just like I thought what happened in October to the innocent Jewish people was horrible, I think what's happening to the innocent Palestinians is horrible as well, seeing dead babies being pulled out of destroyed buildings, bombing hospitals etc. N their leader openly says to kill all of those animals, f that I got kids of my own, I ain't supporting that crap. A child is a child, no matter the race or nationality.
Moses, when asked how long it would take Israel to defeat Syria, Jordan, and Egypt: Fo', Fo', and Fo'.
Americans remember the Alamo by going to Cancun And Pearl Harbor by watching anime and eating sushi @basso @AroundTheWorld Rather have Israel than Hamas or Islamic Jihad On our side
What happened is European Jews wanted to establish a homeland in what was a largely undeveloped (though not unpopulated) Palestine, that created tensions with the locals due to Arab leaders who capitalized on xenophobia and latent antisemitic religious sentiment to rally a competing Arab nationalism, that erupted into a series of violent conflicts, which eventually led to a civil war after the UN decided to allot 2/3 of Mandatory Palestine to a Jewish homeland. Then other neighboring Arab countries got involved after Israel was formed and they got their ass handed to them militarily. The result of all of that is a bunch of Palestinian Arabs were displaced and lost their ancestral homes, a large number of Arabs refuse to accept the moral right of Jews to retaining a country they can call their own in the Holy Land, and consequentially many Israelis are unwilling to accept a Palestinian state at their border. All of this is further inflamed by religious extremists and political opportunists who profit from the stalemate on both sides. I wouldn't say things were peaceful prior to 1948. The civil war didn't erupt out of the blue. There was a significant Jewish influx in the 20s and 30s which local Arab leadership was strongly against, and frequent violent clashes (and outright terrorism) between the communities.
@Scarface281 The Middle East has never been peaceful Before and after Jesus You know the Muslims even fight each other No jews or Christians or ancient alien theorists needed
The Japanese paid their price/suffered the consequences. Not just in Japan but in the US as well. Don't act like they weren't put in the concentration camps, and their loyalty to the USA was questioned. Why didn't anybody mess with the German -Americans; oh because more than half of the white people in the Usa are of German descent.
There were German internment camps as well, during both WWI and WWII. Internment of German Americans - Wikipedia
People have largely no idea what they are talking about re much of history. It's all just surface level meme/Wikipedia entry crap they spew with such confidence. The internment of foreign nationals by belligerent nations has been a common practice for centuries. There are numerous examples of this from the Napoleonic wars forward I can think of. The USA aren't the great baddies people think they are on this subject.
11k (in ww2), whats that % of the total Germans in America and/or German-Americans? 90% of the Japanese-Americans were put in the camps. Come on now
Genetic studies show that Ashkenazi Jews are genetically very similar to Turks. Judaism has been present in Turkey for over 2,400 years. When St. Paul (A Jew from Turkiye) went back to preach in Anatolia, there were Jews everywhere. The large majority of the first "Christians" were Jews. The Ottoman Empire became a safe haven for Jews fleeing persecution in the Iberian Peninsula. When Spain kicked out Jews, in 1500′s Ottoman Turks received around 100.000 Jews who settled from Izmir to Istanbul and elsewhere throughout Turkiye. Through 2,000 years of conversion, concubines, conquests and coupling, these millions of Jews have been mixed, mingled and melded with Anatolians, Byzantians, Ottomans, Turks. Basically, you are a Jew whose ancestors converted to Islam during one of the conquests. You have hundreds of Jewish ancestors. No wonder so many of my Jewish and Turkish friends look so much alike. You probably have more Jewish ancestry than many Russian & Polish Jews. Embrace your roots and your genetic history maypk. L'Chaim.
