Of the Christopher, Nix, TyTy bunch, he was the one I expected most to become a rotation level player.

Me as well. He even seemed to have his 3 point shot in a really good place. I’m not sure why it didn’t work out.

Same here, I thought he was going to become an all NBA defensive player. But it seems he was still too green and the NBA machine doesn’t wait on someone who’s deemed a journeyman. The NBA team give a young players about a season or two to spit you out! With perhaps another season of g league action to spit you out of the league altogether.

In all fairness, Garuba simply wasn’t ready or nearly as talented to garner more time at the NBA level at this stage in his career. Real Madrid loves him and they are happy to get him back.

So now can we officially stop whining about letting those 4 scrubs (Christopher, Garuba, Washington, Martin) go? They were just eating up minutes while we waited to get more real players in.

Garuba is still my pick of the ones cut. Positive thing usually happened when he got playing time. Only the best to him.

Garuba and Christopher were both misses, but neither are missed. Better talent has replaced them both.

I will still put money on him to be an NBA player as long as there's an out in that contract.

Not much of a case for a bust, he joined the best basketball team in the world outside the NBA. If you could let one non-NBA team into the NBA it would be Real Madrid.
