How The Acolyte’s Manny Jacinto Brought Sexy Back to Star Wars https://www.gq.com/story/manny-jacinto-the-acolyte-finale-interview @Jontro
I didn’t mind it. Although the big reveal of what happened 16 years ago was underwhelming, I would still watch a second season.

Glad I didn't watch it if it was that bad. Even my hardcore SW fans were like meh, and they were the absolute target audience for it.
this masterpiece is ahead of its time. modern audiences were not ready. maybe more moderner audiences in the future will be ready to appreciate true art.
I’m not a hardcore fan but I do enjoy Star Wars. However I just really didn’t see anything from the trailers and certainly not the reviews that made me want to spend time to watch. With basically nothing on right now I guess I could give this a shot. You sure it’s good?? I don’t have to know every detail of some animated show 10 years ago or some graphic novel?
I gave up on The Acolyte halfway through, but I still thought The Book of Boba Fett was MUCH worse. The tone of the public dialog around these types of things has become much more brutal in just the last three years. Probably releasing in a mid-culture-war election year was not a good idea. Maybe I'd change my mind about that if I watched to back half of the episodes, but I dont hate myself that much.
I'll try not to get spoiled here, but what do y'all think is the best of all these Star Wars series? I've only seen the full films, and would like to check out one of the series.
