The Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security was - and Harris made that clear nearly four years ago, in direct quotes stating that she did not have that power or assignment - that belonged to Secretary of Homeland Security.

"Czar" means nothing in a political sense, it doesn't define role - but I am not even going to bother pointing that out because it is such a squishy term. However, the idea that Harris was in control of border policy at the US/Mexican border is objectively false. There is video and direct quotes from Harris discussing her assignment, and she specifically says that she is not in charge of the US border, and names the person that is.... At this point, anyone that believes that Harris was in charge of the border is not operating in good faith. It isn't any different than anyone that believes Vance ****ed a couch.

It doesn't matter how many times you guys try and twist what was said and what her appointment actually was, she was never put in charge of the border. 1. She was put in charge of diplomatic efforts to address the root causes of massive immigration. She did in fact meet with other nations and discussed getting more investment to the other nations. She then spoke with business leaders in the United States. And she was at least partially successful as private investment did increase. Biden said, in reference to her being in charge of diplomatic efforts that she spoke with his voice. Again, she had some success. Since then, there was a bi-partisan bill to help address border issues and security. Trump called and asked Republicans to not pass it. Trump succeeded in blocking it. Biden invited both Trump and Republicans to work with him in dealing with any problems they had. They didn't accept the invitation. At no point was she ever charged with securing the border or made a border Czar
Part of humor working especially in political realm, the underlying claim of the joke has some validity to be funny. Otherwise "you are a pedo" would be all that is needed for a joke to work as their is no truth to that claim towards you I assume so it's just a smear at that point.
