Chicago is boarding up because right wingers love to come and sow chaos like they did in Minnesota during George Floyd to try and make it seem like the left wing is the one that’s violent…it’s their typical projection at work How many boogaloo boys and outside agitators are gonna be arrested this time? perhaps Trump should’ve boarded up his rallies to prevent that republican from shooting at him
if youre talking about Tman it was Lin that messed him up. An Asian man who went to Harvard and played in the NBA got him REALLY good.
Now you're all over the place with this one. You start by defending Reagan’s immigration rhetoric but then veer off into the IRCA without addressing how his policies destabilized the region. Remember the El Salvador Civil War? US backed forces, trained and funded under Reagan, were responsible for countless civilian deaths, which led to waves of refugees fleeing north. And El Salvador did not get safer for over 30 years when they finally elected Nayib Bukele and locked up people/shipped criminals out of the country. Reagan’s speech sounded nice and put America in a good light, but be realistic about how his policies in Central America fueled the very crises which pushed people to seek asylum here. Sure, IRCA gave amnesty, but it didn't fix the mess his admin helped create abroad. The point is, it’s not just about letting people in and saying "good job". it’s about dealing with the fallout of policies that made them want to leave their homes in the first place. Trump’s “great, beautiful doors” comment, back when he ran the first time, was about creating a system that controls who comes in legally. That's a far cry from the chaos Reagan’s foreign policies left us to deal with. We can’t talk about immigration without acknowledging the root causes and Reagan’s hands aren’t clean on this.
Well if the election doesn't go their way, this is good news for @AroundTheWorld @basso @Os Trigonum @Commodore @tinman etc.
you realize there are live streams that disprove all the things you're saying right? don't try rewriting history. here is one where you will see the following (surprised it's still on youtube, I'm gonna download it): 1. kidnapping 2. shootings 3. small businesses burned down, including a book store (owner of the bookstore shows up and starts weeping in front of it) 4. fights 5. random feds who are watching the stream showing up in convenient places asking if the streamer wants water 6. anita warriors 7. of course looting and there were so many like this going on at the time, but this guy Regg Inkagnedo captured the best one. Was watching this until the sun came up when it happened:
