Happy for the Ukrainians. I hope they don't make too big a salient which can be encircled in a pincer movement though. That would be a disaster for Ukraine.

I don't know why I am going to bother - but, if you listen to what Biden said he is talking about AFTER Russian aggression that he looked to expand NATO and get more support around the globe.

Second, Biden did not enter and take the Crimea Peninsula in 2014, that was Putin. Biden did not invade Ukraine - that was Russia.

Putin is responsible for the war with Ukraine - he ****ed up Russia economically so he had to try and take Ukraine in an effort to distract the Russian people and an effort to expand the Russian economy.

It will have been three years since Putin invaded Ukraine coming up in January - and he still hasn't taken Ukraine, and now he is dealing with Ukraine invading his country.

Putin a gangster and a **** up - he isn't an effective ruler. He cannot even form meaningful relationships with nations like PRC and Iran, who should be easy allies.

They aren't anti-Russian, they are anti-Putin - based on his behavior and actions.

Lots of old people are anti-Russian.

The Western hegemon of the time [France/GB/Germany/USA etc etc] has almost always been in a geopolitical struggle with Russia, certainly the last couple hundred years.

Whether that was Imperial Russia, the CCCP or the Russian Federation.

That likely continues after Putin expires.

It is not only "Left" but "liberal" and even common sense not to support stupid, but speak out against, unnecessary wars. These war's costs are born by the largely non college grad US working class. Of course, the small percentage folks fighting these wars i.e our "volunteer" military, seeking to pay for college or child support etc. and their families suffer the most. To be clear yellow ribbons, small Ukrainian flags in yards or internet posts do not count. The larger working class become prone to Trumpian style proto fascism as our resources which are diverting from their needs to the MIC and those profiting from the wars.

It is perplexing to see all the allegedly moderate or liberal lemmings fall in line for another of our stupid wars. Also "weird" to see many right-wingers for the moment not supporting the unnecessary Ukraine War since Biden does.
I know for many every new crisis is: Stalin, Hitler, Chamberlain as they were taught in conventional history classes or the mass media.

[Daily Beast] Mystery Solved: Night of ‘Heavy Boozing’ Almost Led to WWIII

A group of Ukrainian businessmen financed the notorious September 2022 attack that sabotaged the Nord Stream pipeline network, plunged Europe into an energy crisis and—at one point—threatened to spark World War III.

A high-ranking Ukrainian general coordinated the plan. And Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed off on it—that is until the CIA got wind and warned him to stand down.

The breakaway will be called Prussia and it’ll work to integrate German states to the west until it forms a Super Germany and annexes Poland.

Could be pretty big if the Kaliningrad could actually gain some momentum.

It's amusing to see the Putinist - Tankie- MAGA horseshoe left pop up every few weeks and try to rationalize their own betrayal.

As expected - this is just insanely ignorant slop - there is no factual basis for anything inferred above.

**** Putin - **** all Putinists as well.

Ridin with Biden Harris on Ukraine - you get your own ride, @glynch - maybe an Iranian Shahed drone launched at a Kiev orphanage or something.
