That's bizarre that MLB shows him as available on the bench tonight. They don't ever have that kind of info wrong.
This may sound odd, but I think this series and the Astro's response to it will foreshadow their off season success. Are they over their "drifting" period where they just couldn't get it together? Are they focused and determined, or will they "take a few games off?" They can't afford to be sloppy at this juncture. It is still a very close race. If they were ten or fifteen games ahead, they might could coast a bit, but that is not the case.
Bottom half of today's lineup could get "no hit." Weak sauce. This is what I cautioned against. The White Sox may not be very good, but they are not a rest stop.
Its baseball. They’ll probably lose 1 out of 3. Regardless. Still just want Spencer, Hunter (and Framber) to continue their dominance and stay healthy.
They're on pace for the worst winning percentage since 1886. Just in case you might think that's a typo. 1886. I'm not saying the Astros should take their foot off the gas...but if there's any series the rest of the season that they could stand to have Bregman take a couple days off, this is it.
