Let's hope unlike Tucker this is something minor. I guess it is the right elbow he is having issues with. Sleeping on it wrong could be but I am concerned it could be something else. Sounds like he is out for this series. I was hoping the new kid Whitcomb they just called up would get the start at 3rd base. There is never a good time for something like this. After his terrible start he was finally getting into a good rhythm with the bat. If he misses the next 3-5 games don't know how difficult it will be for him to get his stroke back. He will be missed but at this point it is what it is. Eight game win streak, 3 game division lead, we have to keep going regardless. Not a time to let off the gas.
Hopefully this is a case of the Astros playing the White Sox and Bregman seeing a good opportunity to rest
A lot of people here just said he needs more ABs. At least after this stretch there will be no more excuses.
You can see the PTSD in full effect in here in regards to any Astros player coming down with an injury. But in reality, Bregman has basically played every game this season. A slight rest is not the end of the world, but understandable for angst.
