Came across this from one of the Mariners subs: F the Astros, F the Rays, F the Tigers but most importantly F the Mariners!!! I usually stay out of other team's subs, we have enough griping going on for our own team, but the last few days have brought me great joy seeing their fanbase in pain. Especially after going to the Seattle series in May and having their fans call us cheaters every where I went, heck even while taking a piss some dumbass made sure to point out I was wearing a cheater's (Altuve) jersey lol. Don't get me wrong, Seattle summers are amazing, T Mobile has great concessions and the city is cool...but F the Mariners and their fans!!!
Even more stingy: apparently Munoz hadn’t given up a HIT since July 5th. need to hear the mariners feed of this. I bet this is just as big an unexpected game turnaround score as Yordan’s playoff HR.
It's been especially nice to see them leading the last two games all the way to the bottom of the eighth with two outs, only to give up game tying and winning homers.
Plenty of season left, so I wouldn’t count them out now. A 4 game cushion in the loss column is nice.
So Astros will need to sweep that last series the last week of the season vs Seattle to get the tiebreaker.
The Dodgers lost also Maybe Carlos Correa gets a slam and the win vs the Rangers tonight to make it a perfect off day.
(Replying before people say we actually want the rangers to win these games) im actually right there with you. Even though it benefits the Astros when the Red Sox and twins lose… I would rather see the rangers lose regardless.
