Bobble Heads, Nesting Dolls, etc. I'm about to choose my tickets from a shared plan and was wondering if this was available? I know there is more important factors to choose by, but if something is really cool it ust may sway me.
I'm looking forward to the "Jeff Van Gundy peach baskets!" Real, Naismith-style basketball. Who needs a hole in the bottom when nobody scores!
I don't remember most of the premium item schedule . .. but there is one key thing to remember for the upcoming season: BOBBLE HEAD TUESDAYS Yep. Most if not all of the Tuesday games will have bobbleheads. One of them will be Boki.
This is true. I spoke with them and they told it's likely that most Tuesday games will have promotional items. I can't say they said it would be bobbleheads, but I was told that day is likely to have promotional items every time. Pugs
Do you think that if these toys of which we speak at sporting events, which are free to the first few thousand fans, which move their heads in all directions, could actually be called a name such as "NODheads", "SHAKEheads", "WIGGLEheads", or "SWAYheads" instead of BOBBLEheads? I mean, they DO bobble, but they also SHAKE, WIGGLE, NOD, and SWAY.
I still haven't heard any word about the promo items. I emailed Tim about 3 weeks ago about when the schedule would be realeased. At that time he said it should be up in about a week. But still no sighting of it yet over at rockets.com. This is what he wrote to me on Sept. 28th: We should be ready to release it in the next week or so. We’ve had to shuffle a few things around due to the classic “circumstances beyond our control” -- a dock workers strike in LA that may delay some of the items that are produced overseas, etc. We have one last issue to work through that involves a manufacturer delay. However, I can tell you that Tuesdays will be Bobblehead Tuesdays. We have 7 Tuesday games this year, and the first 6 will be bobbles. The 7th is when we play Shaq and Miami near the end of the season, so that will be a good game, too. We should have the rest of the schedule up on rockets.com in a week or so. Tim --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I also saw this tidbit over at warriors.com: http://www.nba.com/warriors/tickets/HWCMondays_0405.html The Rockets will be wearing the uniforms from their 1971-72 season against the Warriors in California on March 14th.
I would like us to wear the old school green ones those were pimp.....You can see the throw back jerseys for sale already.
I hope we wear these more than once. I know all the other teams wore theirs 4-5 times during a season, we only wore our old school jerseys once 2 years ago. Looking at the market for old school jerseys, no doubt that the old school "Rockets" would be one of the hottest selling ones.
We shouldn't be afraid to dig out the 1970 uni's either. They may be San Diego, but they just say Rockets and the color scheme is cool in that it's so different.
