First time in a long time where Astros won a game where they scored < 4 runs?

 

Zach Dezenzo should be replacing Dubon at least in the lineup.

Zach Dezenzo should play everyday.

 

Aledmys Diaz role, Clubhouse Chemistry. If he is behind that, it is working.

Framber Valdez and Yainer Diaz are working together, maybe Aledmys Diaz helped that bond.

 

Easy. Play Dezenzo at LF/1B, bat Dubon 8th and Meyers 10th. Chas goes back to AAA until he figures out his swing again.

 

We beat Tampa 3-2 earlier this month.

I would imagine most teams have a pretty abysmal record scoring 3 or less.

 

Earlier this year, I was totally against resigning Bregman.

I’d go 10/200. Keeps Alex a lifetime Astro. Keeps the luxury tax number low. Gives Alex more money (I think) than he will get in the market this time around, I don’t care about 8 years from now eating 20M if it’s Alex as an all time Astro.
It’s possible the end years won’t be a total fiasco.

 

It's awesome that we're 1.5 games up in the division, but it's also equally as important that we are only 0.5 back of a WC spot now too. There was a time it felt like our only path to the playoffs was winning the division, but opening up a path through Wild Card is also valuable. Just keep winning games, and we'll find our way in, one way or another.

 

Best thing that happened this season was getting Jabreu the f*** out.

One man suffocated the team's OPS by 40 points -- plus his defense blew.

With Kuchi Koo we now have 5 solid starters.....

And Verlander on the horizon, it is not a coincidence that the winning streak has coincided with our starting pitching getting locked in.
