Least enthused I've ever seen my democrat friends in a long time.

They hate Kamala and Trump. They don't want to vote.

Trump is going to win this one.

Kamala garnered a staggering low % in democratic primaries against Biden.

So what are the chances she breaks the popular record set by Joe in 2020?

Have you seen the rallies? Did you see that Trump is struggling to fill a 2,000 seat arena?

Maybe your friends are the outliers....

    I don't think anyone knows.
She has the wind at her back right now, but things will change several times in the months to come for both sides.

I think the key is the young vote. Will they come out?
If they do Harris will be the winner.

Basket case? You don't even know me.

Thinking 4 more years of what we just had as a good option is a whole other thought that I have.

    Make it make sense.

If I recall, I was very much on the "wait for more information" side of things.

But, I see you hold multi year grudges for people not holding the same opinion as you.

    Interesting.

My experience is the exact opposite. They aren't Obama level excited, but way more excited than they were in 2016 or 2020.

Interesting take, my Dem friends are through the roof about Harris, IMO her low % from the primaries years ago have ZERO bearing on what's happening now, its not even part of the conversation. My dem friends were going to vote Biden but they were not thrilled about it, but it was a vote against trump and there is no way anyone wants him back. The winds of change are happening, and the more trump speaks the better the polls look for Harris but it will be tight. I don't doubt you, but if your friends are really Dems I have a hard time thinking they would "hate" the Harris pick especially if it helps us beat trump, but hey, folks are fickle.

The DNC starts Monday and I think we see a full court press over the next 80+ days, if trump stays on his current course, expect his numbers to continue to go south.......if he was smart he would STFU and go hide for the next few months, but we know better than that dont we

I'm personally not a big Kamala fan because I'm significantly to the right on most issues compared to her, but, I don't know a single democrat that isn't jazzed right now personally.

I have friends on all sides. I don't really care what anyone's polictics are. Its fun to chat on here because we are behind a keyboard but in person you obviously have to be more controlled in opinions.

They don't like Harris because they don't feel she represents true democrats. They feel that Harris and Walz are very far off in left field.

Many old dem policies are almost in the middle now so Harris doesn't really represent what they believe in.

RFKJ is not a realistic option as he won't command a serious vote but is a true democrat.

    Thats the thought process.

Anyone that is excited about Harris is voting out of two reasons: They hate Trump and his rhetoric or believe in far left ideology.

Voting shouldn't be an emotional thing.

Vote for the person who you feel will improve America's standing economically as well as from a foreign level.

Personally, I don't think this is a tough choice.

probably a repost, but needed. This is why we can't have dictators like Trump in office. Make sure you get out there and vote for Harris.

Harris is a left leaning moderate ... which might look like an extreme leftist from the extreme right.

    Ain't politics grand?

Voting is an emotional choice and it can't be single issue based. Economically, personally, I've been doing quite well during the Biden presidency. So an extension of those policies and, you know, actually getting s*** done domestically, is important to me. Having a President who isn't enamored and possibly in love with actual dictators is important to me, foreign policy wise. And yeah, I f***Ing hate everything about who trump is. So, it really isn't a tough choice for me and I don't think it will be for a majority of Americans when it's time to actually vote.

    Question.

Rates are higher, costs of goods are way up, insurances have skyrocketed etc.

In what line of industry are you in, in which all these things have actually caused you to do quite well?

Not trying to be tip toey or playing gotcha, but genuinely curious.
