3-0 in Kikuchi's starts. He's stabilized the rotation, which is what Dana Brown was aiming for. Dana Brown has a huge smile on his face right now.
He may of gave up a single, but it doesn't mean it should've been stretched to a double because of lazyass defense.
Everyone is saying being lazy or lackadaisical fielding a base hit in the outfield while hitting barely north of the Mendoza line is wholly unacceptable. And it certainly is. I would bench him for at least the rest of this week.
ERA, K/9 not significantly different than last year Gimme a big playoff situation I’ll take him over most
WHIP regressed last year and even worse this year… He would have been fine today but had no feel for his changeup. Stuck with it, however, as he does need to continue to keep hitters off-balance as much as possible.
- 7-game winning streak - 9 games above 500 (season-high) - 1.5 games ahead in the division (season-high) - Kikuchi ballin - Bregs showing what turtles can do (4 consecutive games with a HR and ballin) - Hader increases the franchise record for consecutive saves (26) Great road trip. The Dynasty is Dynasty'ing. Keep the train rolling !!! .
Astros just as importantly 1/2 game behind KC for the last WC spot. At this point, we would like Texas to beat Boston.
a run also wouldn’t have scored if Kikuchi got the out. The baserunner could’ve stolen second base. My point is baseball. Yanier missed a catchable ball at first that led to no runs and Chas fielded a ball that led to no runs until the pitcher gave up a hit. The random sequence of events is called baseball. Astros won. I hope Chad does better. That is all.
The wild card teams are the teams I am scoreboard watching. If the rangers end up in this race, that means we totally imploded.
