    By calling authoritarian leftists "liberals", you are adopting their framing. They are the opposite of liberals. This is language contamination.

    Stop calling them conservatives. Classic conservatives believed in the rights of the individual, freedom of speech, private property, a market economy, and equality before the law. The people in charge obviously don't believe in these things. They're Trumpers, who believe in authoritarian nationalism.
