@Corrosion Do you honestly believe posters like @RudyTBag or btg or @jim1961 will actually sincerely enjoy a hypothetical leap from Green on the Rockets? Do you think they are begrudgingly making jokes about Green. Like there head space is like "I hate doing this but I have to make fun of him"? If we are being honest these type of poster invested too much of their ego into hating a specific player where there is no hope in them feeling good about the Rockets if Jalen "makes it".
This is projection my guy. YOU are heavily emotionally invested in the success or failure of one player, not me. Your emotional investment is why you throw temper tantrums at those who make fun of him for things like humping his teammates and being a mark to old prostitutes looking for one more payday before retirement. If you weren't emotionally invested in him, those stupid little jokes wouldn't harm your emotional state. If by some miracle Jalen comes out this season and plays well, I'll be happy about it because it'll be a good thing for the team to have their former #2 pick not be a complete bust.....you know, because that's what matters to me, the best interest of the team. I don't personally care about ANY player in ANY sport past present or future. Turns out I'm not some weird pre-teen that idolizes players like that. Players matter for a very brief time while they help my team and go back to not mattering the second they are no longer a beneficial player.....that's just how it goes.
Is there a single human on this message board who believes you will enjoy a Jalen Green hypothetical star leap? If it's projection on my part then someone here will stick up for you and disagree with me that you will hate a hypothetical Jalen Green leep as a Rocket in his 4th year. I'm sure you can find one who is as hyper obsessed as you in their hatred for Jalen Green but the temperature of the average Garm poster very well understands your enjoyment on clutch fans will be harmed if Green takes a leap. You won't be able to enjoy it. I understand my obsession with having a favorite player on my favorite team to watch. Those interests align with my fandom as a Rocket. There isn't a conflict of interest.
It said "camp" not "meeting." Ie. Bonding and working out with your teammates. And you're complaining? Weren't you one of those guys pretending to be rational in your hatred of Jalen? So much for that bullshit notion I guess.. .
I would be glad to admit a leap when one is actually made. But playing well for one month while playing bad for 5 isnt going to cut it.
