You're right, and it's stupid. If an infielder doesn't keep that glove down and whiffs entirely that's usually an error. Baseball just randomly decided arbitrary choices scorers make shouldn't be applied to outfielders when it comes to "routine" plays.
framber was so afraid of change (from martin to yainer) but when the change is good, why wouldn't you want that change? like i get it, human is a creature of habit and routine but dude if you don't change and adapt, you gonna fall behind.
