    i've never seen a team foul off so much good pitches like the redsox.

    usually it's just one dude in the lineup but their whole lineup is able to foul off pitches to stay alive.

    Not sure how he faired towards the end of last season (when his production deteriorated), but this uptick seems an excellent sign of staying strong thru September (and beyond).
