    Man, that's rough. I honestly don't know anything about how the IVF process works. I know we decided back in 09 (when the stillborn happened) that if we didn't get pregnant by EOY 2010, we were going to look into it. And we found out we were pregnant literally the morning of 1/1/2011.

    So funny how that works. Sometimes when you stop checking calendars, ovulation schedules and all that nonsense, it just happens. "Trying to get pregnant" will ruin something that's supposed to be REALLY FUN if you let it. Try not to let that happen. Easier said than done, as I'm sure you already know.

    Whatever you guys decide, I hope it works out for you. Just always remember to turn TOWARDS eachother instead of against eachother. No one knows what you've been through except your wife and visa versa. Don't be afraid to talk with eachother about it because really...who else are you going to talk to? Ironically, it can actually be harder on the husband than the wife in some ways. Everyone asks how your wife is doing but no one really asks how YOU are doing. Only person who ever asked me that was....my wife.

    Hi everyone. Bumping a slightly old thread for a good cause. :).

    We've made it to 37 weeks this time and wife is being induced tomorrow at Texas Children's in the Med Center. We did a cervical cerclage this pregnancy and it's been a miracle worker for this time around. We had it taken out at 36 weeks. And it's worked great.

    We've made it to a full term baby! Now, we just need to cross the finish line tomorrow or Tues if the baby doesn't want to come Monday. After the heaviness of this thread initially, I wanted to update everyone on our journey so far.

    Good thoughts, good prayers or well wishes are sincerely welcomed. I'm nervous because I know anything can still happen, including as the delivery is happening. I'm also excited and have faith that my wife and I are due for good news and a beautiful, healthy baby boy. His name will be David. His little brother is watching over him I'd like to think. We still miss him terribly, but are very happy with this pregnancy too.

    Thanks all :). We will be praying for a healthy , happy baby. Whenever he decides to make an appearance for the first time :). I think I'll probably start a new thread to share the great news, but wanted to give everyone a happy journey update from last year too!

    Congratulations! We had twin girls through IVF, so I know what a journey y'all have been on. And the best part is, it's really just beginning. Enjoy ALL of it, it goes by unbelievably fast (our girls start their senior year next week). All the best!

    You know my story, so obviously this makes me very happy.

    How exciting for you and your family. Your wife is a champion and I’m sure you are a great supportive husband. My two children were both born following early pregnancy loss. So I always tell myself I would not know these two amazing humans had we not dealt with the painful part first.

    what a roller coaster of emotions you have experienced in the last year. I am so happy for you. Rest in peace to your angel.

    Just remember, don't introduce him to Unsorted until he's at least 13. @Jontro was always the exception to this trule.
