I think the Astros are horrible at communicating injuries and updates, most of us thought this might be a 2 week thing...........I can see why it would take this long but DAM be upfront, they should have told us that it "could" be several months, no way would I think this would have been 65+ days
I agree... but pretty much all MLB teams do this now because of the CBA. They don't have to say anything. But in this case, there'd be no way of knowing how long this could take. Obviously not all bone bruises are the same. The fact that this was already bruised initially... and got hit again... is why its more severe. Once they realized the severity, they've been pretty open in that nothing was imminent.
