I find it pretty disgusting when people try to slander or discredit anyone who served their country in the military. You don't have to be on the front lines of combat in a war overseas to support the military in your job. If you serve, then retire, or decide not to reenlist, it doesn't make the time you served any less valuable or meaningful. The sickening part is when those making those comments never served a single day in the military. Armchair and couch potato critics are the biggest hypocrites. I give Waltz and Vance both credit for serving their country. Whether they were or weren't POWs, war heroes, or front line soldiers doesn't change my opinion. What they do for Veterans and the military now is what matters to me. Take care of our Veterans.

Agreed. I did 3 years active, but another 4 at Ellington in the Air National Guard. Anyone in the reserves or guard needs to be ready to be deployed if called upon. Without those last 4 I would probably not have been able to get a VA loan for my first house back in the day. And that was huge!!
