My next thought is that Drew Holden, whomever the **** that is, might be b****ing about something like ... the conservative political machine just spent weeks building attacks against Josh Shapiro seeking to divide the Ds along their Hamas-sympathetic fault lines and now that attack does not work against Tim Walz. Both Vance and Walz did as they were told while in the military, because that is how that works. I do not think that we should "shame" either for not leading troops into a firefight in Iraq. BTW I do not think that there were many safe harbors in Iraq since car bombings were happening everywhere. What we can do is criticize them if they make hypocritical statements. If Vance meant to criticize Walz for not going to Iraq and risk his life by handing out erasers, ...
I'm just really failing to see the point you MAGA activists are trying to make here. What I see is: -Police murdered George Floyd in Minnesota -Protests happened in Minnesota because that's where this took place (and all over the world for that matter) -Protests got out of hand. Activists like Kyle Rittenhouse showed up, and helped ignite situation from both sides. -Governor of Minnesota for first 48 hours communicated with local law enforcement, and state troopers to coordinate. Some disagreements, but ... -Governor of Minnesota 48 hours in mobilized the National Guard for the first time in the state's history -Streets and businesses had damage that did cost insurance companies, businesses, and ultimately tax payers of Minnesota money -Trump thought so much of the national guard response that he has tried to take credit for the actions taken by the Governor -Trump appointed Walz to a Governors Committee -Walz accepts VP nomination So what is your political point you are trying to make here: Is Tim Walz a danger to America because... -Walz was too pro-Police officer that he allowed George Floyd's death?? -Walz should have overruled local police offers and state troopers on the first day of protests that could have been peaceful? -Walz should have closed the borders to not allow antagonist's and provocateur's to come in the state? -Walz shouldn't have called the National Guard in at all in disagreement with a plan that Trump is said to have praised, and taken credit for?? What exactly is the point you are trying to make here?? Please? ..... *Also.... back in the 90's during the Rodney King riots there was a Republican Governor in California that was overseeing that response by the state. Do you also believe that it was his fault that Los Angeles suffered days of looting, fires, and rioting as well?? Or is this only the fault of the governor when it's a Democrat you have an activist agenda to slander?? I wonder how many times in the past 6 years you've had the outrage in your belly aimed at Governor Tim Walz because the George Floyd protests??
