I've been saying that for years. It's been sad to watch people go from well-intentioned good faith actors whom I happen to disagree with to happily willing prion-disease vectors regurgitating and circling the most unhinged, unsourced, hateful nonsense. All to funnel advertising money to some deadbeat man-child who makes shitty cars. If Clutch figured out a way to filter youtube/twitter embedding in the D&D only it would improve the UX here 100x. For now the ignore list will do. I don't come here to read someone else's social media feed.
Well it’s been fun but I have to go back to my socialist labor camp to get some Work in before I have to go pray with Ilhan at the mosque.
The truth? - How many posts from X-bots and other social media did you post about Paul Pelosi and the violent attempt to take his life coming from his gay leftist motivated lover?
Maybe it would be possible to do this with a browser extension like uBlock? Don't know if there's a way to block on it on specific pages or sites, though. I've stopped using X, generally. But I don't want to outright block it unless it is taking over other content. When someone habitually posts a tweet embed rather than their own words, it does a few things: 1. They will flood threads with their content, because posting a link is so easy. In doing so, they drown out other viewpoints that are actually thoughtful and have some nuance to them. Threads devolve into pissing matches. 2. They can always distance themselves from the shitty content of the tweet and say “I’m just trying to share a different POV.” So, it removes accountability.
I have an x account, but only to follow Texans and Astros. I get all of the most accurate and unbiased X posts right here on clutch Fans.
Ya it's unfortunate because x/Twitter still provides some value as credible news organizations still break news often through their tweets so there is value in posting embedded tweets occasionally. Using it to occasionally break news is fine but people replace expressing their own thoughts with spamming tweets of random people expressing opinions and that's when it devolves into just spam.
This is simply false. The truth is that the protests started getting riled up on May 27th, and the executive order was issued on May 29th. It was the first time Minnesota had ever deployed the national guard FYI, and the largest in the country for some time. *It was such a large deployment that DONALD TRUMP has tried to take credit for it. It's actually a sign of leadership too that in those two days, Walz takes responsibility for the mistakes that were made along the way. Do you EVER think that Trump would take responsibility for any failures in deploying military or law enforcement with even issues like this with the news, etc? https://www.vox.com/2024-elections/...ning-riot-george-floyd-minnesota-2020-protest I also don't know why you are so damn concerned with Minnesota. Don't you live in F-ing Germany, and under the MAGA umbrella of Florida down the road from Mar A Lago when you aren't in Germany?? If one didn't know any better, I think it would be safe to say that you are just an online activist/troll that serves the MAGA campaign. Either that or you truly are crazy by every standard measurement known to man.
I wouldn’t go that far with Shapiro (he’s a pretty popular governor in a key state) but Harris and Walz do seem like a better fit. I think Walz will be a better national representative of progressivism than Bernie was.
https://www.cnn.com/2024/07/28/politics/fact-check-minnesota-trump-speech-national-guard/index.html So I'm confused here.... so the national guard deployment was it good or was it bad? Because Donald Trump wants to take credit for what Walz did so....
No no no.... it cannot be false if it fits my propaganda narrative. Kind of like how... - The deployment of the National Guard to Minnesota was a stroke of genius, and leadership by Donald Trump but -The deployment of the National Guard by Tim Walz was a disaster, and the world burned and all of our lives were in danger and still are in danger because of what Tim Walz did by deploying the National Guard when he did, and how he did it. (Even though the truth is that Tim Walz deployed the National Guard, and Trump did not)
If the two largest counties in Atlanta get out the vote they have a higher population than the rest of the state combined.
they’re charging $29.99 for stuff like this here’s some reviews John H., Phoenix, AZ: “I ordered the Trump Vance 2024 Collectible $2 Bill as soon as I heard about it. The quality is amazing, and I love the design! It’s a fantastic addition to my collection, and I can’t wait to show it off at the next gathering.” Lisa M., Orlando, FL: “As a huge Trump supporter, I had to get this bill. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The certificate of authenticity is a nice touch. I’m planning to frame it and hang it in my office!” Michael R., Dallas, TX: “I bought three bills to take advantage of the special offer. The details in the colorization are stunning! This collectible isn’t just a great conversation piece; it also feels like owning a piece of history. Highly recommended!” new crypto scam on deck for the mindless drones as well
Waltz on Trump... “Make no mistake, violent crime was up under Donald Trump. And that’s not even counting the crimes he committed.” Waltz on Vance.... “Like all regular people I grew up with in the heartland, JD studied at Yale, had his career funded by Silicon Valley billionaires and then wrote a best seller trashing that community. Come on. That’s not what middle America is. And I gotta tell you. I can’t wait to debate the guy. That is if he’s willing to get off the couch and show up.”
On a separate note, I want someone to explain to me why someone who is running for the President of the United State would actually be running in order to help prop up crypto currency, and openly promoting the idea of shifting the economy AWAY from the US Dollar?? Like if you are the President of the United States, you'd think you'd have an interest in the strength of the US Dollar. It's almost like the guy actually doesn't care about the country, and is only in it for himself.... .... but what do I know... maybe I just have TDS.
The guy is nothing but a snake oil salesman. The narcissist in him puts his name or face on everything he sells. He loves having so many schmucks buying up his crap.
