You haven't been paying much attention if you think Rocketstruth/Hardenvolumeone/Stroudyourdaddy is white lmao
I just found out that the great Houston legend, Billy Spanoulis, is the coach of the Greek NT. He can have a coffee with JvG now.
3x3 Basketball finale was fun to see, the Netherlands won on a buzzer beater step back beyond the line by a guy who plays in a funny way and then has the hair colors a la Rodman. I've seen Americans try to downplay this as if it's not an Olympic sport or that it shouldn't be, just because they didn't send their "best" and of course lost big time. Sore losers.
That was harte Arbeit Former part-time Rockets-Legend Schröder with a deeeeep 3 at the end of the shotclock and usual stable playmaking in crunchtime. Against Canada we are underdogs again. Bring it on. Love this team.
I mean, it's a sport where the most talented people (not just american) aren't participating. The best players at the sport play real professional team basketball, so the entire tournament field is just guys not good enough to do that anymore. There are a lot of Olympic sports that I don't think should be a sport, but at least they are actually the best in the world at it. These guys aren't in the top 1000 ballplayers in the world. LeBron, Jokic, Doncic, Durant or Giannis would punk these guys.
I agree with you. The Olympics has expanded to a lot of games played on the streets, which in a way is okay. All sports were once unofficial games played by people. I wonder why they don't have 1-on1 basketball. Or HORSE. The most puzzling, I think, is the absence of indoor soccer (or arena football). It's much more "legitimate" than 3-on-3 basketball.
Semifinals, is it. Somehow the Canadiens got beat by France, so it will be a rematch tonight between some Rockets Legends against the Rookie from San Antonio and that former Utah player. You see, more than enough reasons to root for Germany.
I have a feeling the refs will protect France at all costs. They want that Lebron vs. Wemby final. Wouldn't be surprised if they flew Scott Foster in to guarantee the fix.
