Is it really reasonable to expect Trump to remember anything he did while in office?

If you watch the whole clip, it's really weird. I think he said something about our relationship China, but it's really incoherent. It looks like Trump was sundowning.

The fact that there was an attempted assassination on a presidential candidate without any discernable motivation by the shooter and it's barely in the news cycle already... makes the rest of the world wonder if Americans are just under total psychological subjugation.

Not intending to diss anyone but it just changes everyone's formula from "we have to work with them" to "they can't help us unless we save them".

You guys are really in deep trouble man and I feel for you. No one has a deep state that large to overcome.

Retirement is nice, and mine was well earned. I worked an extremely fast paced high stress job for 20 years, followed by another high stress job for a few years. They certainly weren't the types of jobs you could get on your phone and post on social media at work, that's for sure.

So, yeah, I have all the time I want now to relax, spend with friends and family, work in my garden, read, watch sports, travel, or post online if I want. :)

So he admits that the deal is one that allows killers to go free.
But he still congratulates Putin for making such a "great deal."
    This guy.

And he's implying he would've give up those same "killers" releasing them back to Putin- but only for a "better deal" (total bullshit by the way) for the United States.

Trump's "better deal" would be, "all you have to do is make me look good and I'll give you the Russia arms dealer for free!"

This is the same guy who killed the bipartisan immigration reform bill, because he thought a Biden "win" wouldn't be good for the upcoming election.

Trump Makes Russia Prisoner Swap All About Him in Bonkers Response

Trump’s anti-diplomacy pearl-clutching is not only inane, it is also hypocritical. His own administration facilitated several prisoner swaps during his time in office.

In 2019, the Trump administration oversaw the release of three senior Taliban leaders imprisoned in Afghanistan, in exchange for one American, Kevin King, and Timothy Weeks, an Australian.

One month later, the U.S. freed Masoud Soleimani, an Iranian scientist convicted of export violations, in exchange for the return of Xiyue Wang, a Princeton graduate student held in Iran.

In October 2020, one of Trump’s deputy assistants agreed to free 250 Houthi rebels being held in Oman, in exchange for two Americans, Sandra Loli and Mikael Gidada, who were held hostage by Iranian-backed militants in Yemen.

Two years later, Trump lied, bragging that, while in office, he’d secured the release of 58 hostages without giving anything in return.

Has any ex President or Presidential candidate ever congratulated the leader who imprisoned our own American people before, instead of congratulating our own President for negotiating their release? I don't know what blackmail or bribery Putin is holding over Trump that has Trump bending over backwards to coddle and praise him for, but it's certainly not good.

Carmel Harness wants to defrock the place to pretext the violet marb that is wreckting the nay sun.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump,78, stumbled over phrases at a campaign rally on Saturday, sparking speculation about his cognitive abilities from critics on social media.

Speaking at a rally in Atlanta on Saturday night, the former president slurred and mispronounced "wrecking" as "reckting," "mobs" as "marbs" and said "place" instead of "police" before correcting himself.

"Together we will stop Kamala Harris' nation reckting[...]I'll tell you what...," he said before changing the subject, and then later "She will not stop, she said she was endorsing defund the place, and, the police, and she said violent marbs, let the violent mobs keep going."

Newsweek has contacted Trump's campaign via email for comment outside business hours.

Some users on social media described the stumbles as "glitches" and raised concerns about Trump's age and mental fitness.

Harris' campaign account @KamalaHQ posted the first clip on X, formerly Twitter on Saturday night and wrote "Trump glitches: 'Together we will stop Kamala Harris' nation reckting— akfjslk I'll tell you what..." The post had been viewed more than 500,000 times by Sunday morning.
User @Acyn, a digital editor for Trump-critical media network Meidas Touch posted the second clip on X on Saturday night and wrote "Trump glitching heavily with claims of defunding of the 'place' and 'violent marbs.'" The post had been viewed more than 1 million times by Sunday morning.

The main account of the network @MeidasTouch reposted the clip and wrote "This is sad. He is declining fast. His brain is mush. This decline will only rapidly accelerate."

A Harris-supporting account @MuellerSheWrote wrote "He's not well. The media should talk about it." While Democratic strategist @AdamParkhomenko wrote "I'm surprised the media is not asking more questions about why no one around him is intervening with what is a clear and continual decline. We should also talk about his age."

User @TimOBrien, a political analyst for MSNBC, also said the stumbles were a symptom of decline. "Trump has degraded noticeably in recent years and senior moments like this are just another reminder."

In the rally, Trump also continued to falsely claim that he won Georgia in 2020, a state he lost to President Joe Biden. He called Biden "such a bad precedent," instead of "president," before correcting himself, and said that Harris was "a low IQ individual."

He said of the recent prisoner swap with Russia, "Boy, we make some horrible, horrible deals."

Trump has made numerous bizarre statements and gaffes on the campaign trail which have made his age and cognitive fitness a major talking point. He has repeatedly mentioned fictional serial killer "the late, great Hannibal Lecter," in connection to illegal immigration, which some critics speculate may be because he is conflating asylum-seekers with insane asylums.

In June, he went on an incoherent rant involving a hypothetical about sharks, boats, and batteries.

Before Biden, 81, announced in July that he would not seek reelection, his and Trump's ages were both identified as major concerns for voters. A February poll from ABC News and IPSOS found that 59 percent of voters believed both candidates were too old to be president. If elected, Trump will become the oldest person to be inaugurated president in U.S. history.

Trump was repeatedly critical of Biden's frequent gaffes or mental stumbles during public speeches, calling him "cognitively impaired" and an "old broken down pile of c***."

A more recent poll found that the majority of Republicans would prefer a president younger than 75.

Harris, meanwhile, is 59, and will be hoping to capitalize on the fact she is much more popular than Trump with younger voters.

Folks are doubting him, I just felt the need to remind people that he's one of the great orators of our lifetime.

He doesn’t mind being one, and his team is capable of installing him as one. The system can only withstand so much before it cracks open, allowing these factions to strike gold.

"And I'm for electric cars. I have to be, you know, because Elon endorsed me very strongly, Elon. So, I have no choice." - Trump yesterday

He’s once again signaling that the U.S. is for sale under him. With the recent SCOTUS ruling granting absolute immunity against crimes for official acts, he can now openly advertise this to the world without fear of prosecution when he accepts "gifts" in exchange for policy favors.

A grifting lying self-serving con will always make deals for dollars in his pocket. Putin and Kim Jong Un would love to have him back in office and bribe him for favors.

Could NK even afford to bribe Trump? It's not like Kim could barter wheat and corn for political favors...
