If Shapiro loses out on the VP position because of his history of struggling to be empathetic towards Palestinians, I hope he learns something from it.
I still have not heard of a single reason why Harris is a better candidate outside of her not being Trump. ZERO policy. None! All we have is hand waving and talking about how the cloud is above us and the files just live up in the air followed up with some weird cackling. I can't comment on actual intellect, but from what I have seen, she is one of the dumbest politicians i've ever seen. When I have asked for some source material to assume otherwise, all I get is a digital version of Harris arm waving telling me to go do my own research. And all the Democrats in this thread keep talking about Trump.

Considering she was the VP, I think a lot are assuming it's going to be mostly a policy continuation of the Biden admin, except with a 59 year old, who can physically look and speak competently. A lot of normie dems/moderates were turned off, even embarrassed by Biden appearing like a mummy. Kamala fixes this and that alone might get a thumbs up from a lot of voters.
It's so funny. My motivation to vote for Harris has nothing to do with that. My motivation to vote for her is because I want humans who call migrant avacado pickers being paid under minimum wage an "invasion force" as far away from power as humanly possible. I vote for her because I want people who jovially wax lyrical about mass deportations that would require concentration camp style infrastructure to carry out as far away from power as humanly possible. I want people who surround themselves with the type of people who dress up in their retired military dress uniforms around said presidential candidate because the cosplay gives gravitas to convince said candidate we should lob missiles at Mexico to fight cartels to be as far away from power as humanly possible. What do you say to people who vote for Harris because of that?
My dad is 83 years old and a hardcore republican, he was talking today about sanctuary cities etc....and I said, well you must be happy then......as you want tough on crime, and he goes, what do you mean? I said we got a prosecutor running for President.....the moral backflips he attempted to do were hilarious....I was like finally a President that is tough on crime.....he tried the California angle....her record, and I pinned him down on every argument. He started talking about the two immigrants who killed the 13 year old in Houston, I said, well Trump raped a 13 year old with Epstein....but..but...but...... His head was spinning......I decided to let him off the hook, until he talked about installing machine guns at the border or installing a wall, and I was like neither work - and shooting them is illegal...... Old people....SHEESH ! He will be voting though, against his own UNION backed interests....... DD

Was that supposed to be impressive? The MAGA can keep running on misogyny but I am not sure that it is going to work in 2024.
