I am politically independent, but I do like humor. President Bush said today that "Kerry could debate with himself for 90 minutes." Funny. Also, "Kerry is on Orange Alert."(Bush didn't say this, but it has surfaced in the media and we all know where it came from). Senator Kerry is apparently tanning for the debate. He has looked noticeably darker and "oranger" the last few days. Kerry's response was that the times are "too serious" to be making jokes, but, you know what, humor is welcome relief. Today at least, Republicans 2 Democrats 0. Tomorrow is a new day. If this dreary campaign takes a humorous turn, I won't complain.

Not to derail your thread, but didn't Jon Stewart actually have GWB debating himself via video a couple of months ago?

Yeah, that "Candidate Bush V. President Bush" video is absolutely hilarious. It is up on the 'net at Comedy Central online. I will post a link if I can find it.

Top right in the list of videos, Bush vs. Bush.

Last night, my buddies and I were trying to figure out who SNL want's to win the election. Which candidate is easier to parody?

There's just so much material on both guys I really think SNL would be happy with either one.

Vote for Bush for four more years of humiliating gaffes, tax breaks for the rich, and destructive policies.

Too funny. Best redeeming quality about the candidate selection i've seen...
