Yup. She was the favorite - but not by an overwhelming margin or anything. Alfred just kicked it up a notch in the Olympics. She got faster at the Olympics and Richardson got slower. This is also without Shericka Jackson there, who probably would've given her even more competition.

Their is some blatant ****ery going with cheating French officials and refs. Japan just got robbed in judo vs France. This is after the fiasco earlier this week with Team Japan vs Team France in men's basketball.

I haven’t watched all of teams matches but one of the biggest complaints I’ve had are the inconsistency of the calls. There definitely have been a few matches where the refs have decided it. Some of these have benefited the French but there have been a few times when the French player I felt got screwed by an inconsistent call.

For those who don’t follow judo there has been a lot of subjectivity in Judo calls. For the Olympics I’m find the scoring calls to be mostly good but it’s when they call penalties. At the Olympics it appears to be they are letting the players get away with a lot of technically illegal grips but then calling them inconsistently and in some cases favoring certain players. It’s like football where it seems like there is holding on every play and not clear then when the refs call
    It.

I don’t follow track or many of these sports outside of the Olympic so I’m pretty much stuck with what NBC says. They relentlessly hype US athletes and Sha’Carri has been one of the ones they hyped a lot.

Fan zhendong wins gold smoking trhe swede 4-1. The only reason the swede made it to the medal round is some r****d broke Wang Chuqin's blade and he had to use a backup.

first time since 2004 China has not won Gold and silver in mens singles
