Not FVV? I’m also curious, why don’t the other 70 games count? Also don’t forget 7/8 games during his awesome run were against the absolute worst tanking teams in the league. What about his -4.7 net rating also? Doesn’t matter i assume?
FVV was also out during a portion of our 10 game winning streak. Also the 10 game winning streak is my focus area because it was with a depleted rockets roster, with no center clogging the paint. You can make a serious argument Jalen's progress was slowed down by Sengun's lack of a 3pt shot. Hence why we excelled with Sengun out
Who was playing center with sengun out? Was it an elite shooter? Does it not matter that almost every game was against the worst tanking teams? What about the -4.7 net rating when jalen was in the court? We were basically terrible with him
How naive can you be? Jock Landale a knock down 3 point shooter? Oh did you forget we had Amen Thompson playing pf? I'm sure he did a great job spacing the floor for Jalen considering he shoots like 10% from three... Jalen was out there with non shooters even during the win streak. Only difference was those teams were all hot garbage and tanking or missing key players didn't care to game plan or stop Jalen. Then once the games got serious again, Jalen was back to being absolute trash. Did Sengun magically come back for the last 10 games of the season and make Jalen suck again? Why did he fall off a cliff after the 10 game win streak? So in an 82 game season you want to cherry pick 10 games even though the most recent sample size of 10 games shows he was awful. Can't blame Sengun for him sucking when he sucked with Sengun out also.
Definitely he can carry better than Jalen, a guy who is supposedly a shooting guard but can't shoot and defend!
Jalen's defense was good all last season. We played our best basketball with Jalen as our primary option, a guy who apparently can't shoot
