Yea. I don’t get the Paolo love. I wouldn’t trade for him straight up with Jabari. I’ve never liked the eye test with the guy and still don’t I’ve posted the straight up stat comparison to Jabari and he loses at everything but total points and assists. Jabari absolutely blows him away on defense and all the shooting %’s. PPG at low efficiency is not a good thing.
55% ts vs 57% TS is not a large enough gap for Jabari to say this given the fact of how much more of Palo's game is against points of attack defenses off of self creation relative to Bari. Paolo also averages 5.4 apg to Bari's 1.6.

This makes me feel a little better. Basically right now Sengun and Green have low cap holds for next season, especially Sengun. It makes sense to allow FVV to leave, sign a new free agent, and then sign them. If we gave them contracts now we couldn't a sign free agent next season.
I look at both sides of the floor. Also the role they need to play for their teams. Jabari is our best defender other than Amen. He is the guy we match with Wemby, Chet, Lebron, and Durant. They all defer to other teammates when Jabari is guarding them. Banchero is a poor perimeter defender and average at best in the post. He is poor 3 pt shooter. Jabari is getting better every year offensively, but will never be the creator or passer than Banchero is, but I believe will be the better overall player in the long run. Unfortunately, the media will always faun over No. 1 overall picks until they realize that they are not all that. Mobley is another guy that is extremely overrated by the media and folks on this board.
I think Paolo is good but the notion that he's better than Sengun is looney tunes. If the Rockets were in the East and the Magic in the West then Sengun would be an All Star and we would've been a playoff team.
Well if we want the 10 win streak team when Sengun was hurt last year, he'll need to need to play his role beside Jalen
I don't know how he ended the season but he was -0.5 Net rating when the Magic was like 39-27. The Magic made the play-offs because they have really good veterans on their roster. I'd trade Jabari for Banchero but I also think Banchero is not as good as he's advertised.
Nah better trading him to another team so everyone can see who can better carry a team for an entire season including the playoffs
