It isn't good that Chas and Yordan are above average hitters regarding fastballs down the heart of the zone? Or it isn't good that Yordan hits the snot out of the ball almost anywhere he can get good wood in the ball, but is merely a Chas level beast at smashing fastballs down the heart of the zone this season? Or is it everything turns to dust that Chas touches because he had an abnormally horrid 99 PAs to start the season?
I think...hear me out... Yordan should be a better hitter than Chas (in all pitches, all situations) If he's not, we might have a problem.
Well, I wouldn't DFA Yordan just yet, and I really hope pitchers throw him fastballs down the heart of the zone.
It does not justify the overpay but nothing could make me happier than Kikuchi continuing to prove me wrong.
A few more solid performances and he'll get some respect around here. Still don't trust him, but the change-up / slider mix looks good.
first of all... take "Yordan" and "above average" and "is" out of your vocabulary when used in the same space...
