That wasn't the biggest issue. Where is the distrust coming from? They have a past beef and rumor has it that Fetterman believes Shapiro is overly personally ambitious. Is this what the decision maker between candidates will be? These very unspecific rumors are what is important.
what's important is Shapiro's support for Israel. ...and how that will "discomfit" the Democratic Party base.
That has nothing to do with Fetterman and his reservations. If you want to hang your hopes on that being the downfall, go for it.
