The only way I’ll be proven wrong my chum is If Jalen Green is not a top 5 SG in the NBA. In which case, I’ll have to deal with the Mobley-squad.
speed read this thread because of lack of analysis and abundance of anal spits where is jalen and what part of his game is he working on
No. It’s about objective analysis without cognitive bias which I have discussed in my previous posts here.
I for one would enjoy Jalen Green turning it around and us making a deep playoff run with him being an integral part seeing as he's one of the most athletically gifted players in the league and quite electric when he's "on". Would you also be on board with him being benched and subsequently traded if his stats mirrored those of the last 3 seasons or would you just blame the other players or coaches or Toyota Center depth perception?
Are you the dude who says Cam Whitmore creates more separation than Jalen? I've already said this. Words are meaningless. The relentless nature of your attacks on Jalen signal to me that if hypothetically Jalen is a long term part of a Rockets successful run, you'd be frustrated because you have to type on a message board where people knew for three years you relentlessly shitted on the dude.
Some people really do just dislike Jalen Green. Be honest with yourself, you've seen people dissing his clothes or hair or relationship among other things and not in a funny way. Those people are not going to openly admit what's fueling them. They have no idea they're that way. That doesn't mean everyone is that way of course but if we're being really honest, no not every Jalen critic wishes an attractive young erratic but talented Gen Z'er turns it around. Some prefer their shaky principles prevail rather than Jalen breaking out. That's life, when you're more popular you also have more haters. There are people with problems and they gravitate towards people with less problems.
This is hyperbolic and condescending at the same time. Your view that some of these fans are saying Green isn’t a “poor player” doesn’t necessarily reflect reality considering many of these fans collectively have cited examples from observation, knowledge of the game, and with context. And many of these same fans have acknowledged his 3 pt shooting woes. Much like your boy Bobby it comes down to your view he isn’t a good player. Your statement simply reflects that you don’t comprehend what you read. Perhaps reflecting your deep bias. Bias and emotion can’t drive assessments. You did the same bulshi+ when I was addressing another user on Silas and Sengun. You interjected a dumb snarky comment “Ah, we have finally come full circle on the Jalen Green experience.” Because your dumb view that Green shouldn’t “shoot” if they aren’t “good”. To which I responded that Sengun doesn’t shoot the ball well and that has never been his game as opposed to Green who is a guard just like Luka, Dame, Fox, john starks who kept shooting even when they avg .330 or less because that’s their game. If you ever played ball you would know coaches don’t tell players to not shoot when that’s part of their game. Then you used the tired cringeworthy phrase “keep the same energy” with Green when I have gone on record to be critical of all Rockets players including Green. Go look it up. Again you completely ignored what was actually said, got in your feelings and blurted out dumb shi+ as you always do just like here with Green supporters without any context, knowledge, or facts. You’re one of the least knowledgeable and biggest loud mouthed a$$hole on this site besides Bobby. Y’all probably should go whack off together on Jalen and Josh’s video since you can’t seem to get it out your mind.
Clicking in the hopes of seeing a Cam workout vid or some other news. Alas, no. It's the same thread as every other one on the front page.
The GARM is basically trash right now. If your pet player is getting mauled in their thread, hijack other players' threads and spread your misery to everyone else.
No the trash and miserable people here are fans who consistently Spew hate and bias towards one player everyday with comments not rooted in knowledge, observation of the game or complete facts. Some of these same people further antagonize other fans for supporting a specific player every single day. I call out this ignorance and bullshi+ every single time. Maybe you should too.
It's really stupid. It's one team and team success matters most. I only see fans of ONE player doing what you describe, though. And those are not the fans of Alpi, Jabari, Amen, Cam, Reed, Tari, FVV, Adams, Landale, Brooks, Tate.
The shame of it is, the Rockets have a nice collection of talent that almost made the playoffs with all of the injuries, youth and a first year head coach. There’s a lot to be excited about. But it appears to me to be two posters with a total opposite opinion on one player and they argue with each other or with others in every thread. One thinks he’s trash and the other thinks he’s Kobe. The truth lies somewhere in the middle but we don’t need to read it in every single thread.
This isn’t true at all. Another assumption not based on facts. The fight is for objective analysis not for any one player and when a few people demonize one player without doing their due diligence on terms of research, analysis, and context then the problem persists and the fight continues. Perhaps you should go back and read these posts.
yes its true going back to the Francis era. There certainly are untouchables (Yao, Scola now Sengun) and those hated (Tmac, Francis, Harden, Jalen)
That's the problem with their narrative, they have to ignore what Jalen's fans actually say about him. I'd trade Jalen for Booker tomorrow if it didn't also require adding in probably at least Sengun/Reed/Amen for them to even consider it. Booker's what I hope Jalen will be some day so if we could get that now then that'd be awesome. Because I'm a Rockets fan. It's interesting that the bullshitters would absolutely NOT celebrate if Jalen comes in next season and emerges as an all-star, they'd likely spend all year crying about it and finding ways to tear it down even if it resulted in us winning a ton of games...
It is a thing I do notice about obsessive haters in this forum. Is it because they are jealous of people who are capable of measured criticism? They definitely can't engage with what he actual poster is saying about Jalen Green. They just see a wall of text and think "lol this guy thinks he's Kobe"
