Senile demented 8 dimensional chess king went in front of the National Association of Black Journalists today (great idea!) and it went about as well as you'd expect.
He acts like Generals don't get their rank by military experience and promotions. If he thinks he can just appoint anyone outside the military to those positions he would be the most clueless and ignorant Commander in Chief of the military, and certainly not competent enough for the position of President. He's gone senile.
Trump is hilarious. That NABJ performance was one for the history books. How many black votes did that win him? lol
"What is a 'Black job,' sir?" (after Trump said that millions and millions of people crossing the border were taking "Black jobs." Wow. I had read y'all's comments and then had to watch the first half and I've never seen anything quite like it.
That was a zinger "They are taking all the black jobs!!!" "What's a black job?" I cracked up so hard. He had no answer for that.
Why is it so hard for MAGA to understand that when two people of different races have a kid, the child belongs to both races?
Everyone knew exactly what his old white ass meant when he said that. SMDH. Still can't believe he signed up for this. Then in his first comments, he starts complaining that it was 30 minutes late that he was told Kamala would be there, but then Kamala gets to join them on a different day via Zoom, etc, etc. So, so odd. Like, this is his corner: "Okay, they may ask some hard questions, so be ready to right away pivot to calling these women nasty and complaining about this event we've set up for you! Make sure you complain that they're running ..." (checks watch) "... about 35 minutes late. Okay, got get 'em, tiger! Grrrr!" (pats Trump's flabby, diaper-filled pants)
They do. In some situations, they don't...like if SS is their only income. Otherwise, percentage of SS benefits taxed is based on income level (e.g. 50% of SS check eligible for being taxed if less than $34k; otherwise, 85% of SS check eligible for being taxed if above). It's been in the news a lot lately. Trump is acting like he's just now bringing this up. It's obviously a bribe. But, they have been talking about getting rid of SS taxes for a few years now. Trump wants to act like it is his idea. The problem with not taxing SS is SS could grow insolvent even faster. That's a huge loss of funding cutting those taxes.
Yeah, if you make above a certain amount of money, you going to pay taxes on SS. But it's a very small amount. My mom for instance has to pay 10% on her social security because she pulls in 4x that in other retirement income. I know because I do her taxes. She's rich. She can't spend all her retirement income. You ever wonder why grandma's just give their grandkids money and buy them all these nice things? It's because they don't even know what to do with their money. They should be paying tax on their Social Security. But the people who survive on Social Security are not paying taxes on it. The people who need help are there, not the people who are living comfortably already.
Aside, I don't think a President alone can just stop taxing SS. It's going to have to pass Congress. Therefore, this would have to be bi-partisan in nature unless Repubs control the House and Senate where they would lick the poo off Trump's shoes if he asked them to.
Not to mention increasing the deficit and ironically putting social security at greater risk of insolvency.
1. Be a completely delusional idiot, felon, narcissist etc (the whole trump thing) who 2. Surrounds himself with flunkies and morons afraid of him, and 3. Mistakenly believe your own hype from a few weeks ago pretending like you were going to win significant share of black votes - this was just a Biden low enthusiasm effect and a response bias issue in polling which, IMO is kind of broken now relative to years ago. But, look at the bright side if you're him, at least he's in the news again and he didn't even have to get shot at.
Abortion is not much of an issue, says the rich entitled old white dude.............hate to break it to ya gramps but you have no clue.
Low energy old man fabricates story about time he survived helicopter crash with former SF mayor Willie Brown - a very perfectly normal and not at all senile thing to do evidencing no cognitive decline He made up the crash, made up the passenger, and made up the conversation - but otherwise the story checks out. Waiting for the NYT to convene its in-house panel of geriatric neurology experts that mysteriously disappeared this month
