What I don't understand is how the media isn't talking about how terrible a candidate Trump is. He lost to Biden in 2020, he should've been leading by 10 points after the debate, they switch the candidates and his lead is completely erased. If this was a Romney or McCain candidate, this is over.

It really depends on the poll and that is besides the point. This should be a runaway but it's not. Why? Because Trump is a crappy candidate.

I don't believe it is beside the point. Silver puts Trump at a 61% favorite-to-win, with Harris taking the popular vote and Trump winning the Electoral College. So I don't really think it's "besides the point," your statement was that Trump's "lead is completely erased." That is incorrect.

    Silver:

Harris will give Democrats a fighting chance. In fact, she’s a slight favorite over Donald Trump in the popular vote, which Democrats have won in all but one election since 2000. If an election were held today, we’d enter the evening with a lot of uncertainty about the outcome, both because the polling in the pivotal Blue Wall states (Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin) has been close since Biden dropped out of the race and because there’s some intrinsic uncertainty about where the race stands given how much news there’s been lately.

However, she’s a modest underdog to Trump in the Electoral College, risking a repeat of the popular vote-Electoral College split that cost Democrats the 2000 and 2016 elections. Harris isn’t unique in this regard: Biden also had a large Electoral College-popular vote gap in 2020, barely winning several tipping-point states despite winning the popular vote by 4.5 percentage points. But this is still a problem for Democrats, and we show Harris as having a slightly wider popular vote-Electoral College gap than Biden had in his version of the forecast.

sure. but as it stands today, Trump is still leading, Harris is still the underdog. Kamalot or no Kamalot.

    lol

Articles like this just show how ridiculous people are in their conspiratorial thoughts. Google is a business and adjusts based on people to make money. They probably don't even know how to use Google in a way that would be an unbiased query because there is no such thing. Who you are determines what you see - not some agenda from Google other than to maximize dollars. Their interest is to put content up that you will engage in and thus come back because it is relevant to YOU.

Let me show you something. Here are two search queries of "trump" into google - one while I am login in so it can see my cookies and wone while I am incognito - see the difference?

The first is incognito the second is when I am logged in. Notice the difference?

Trump is such a male cheauvanistic pig. He just can't help revealing how he views women.

Trump says world leaders will walk all over Kamala in attack seen as denigrating women

"I think they'll look at her. I think they'll walk all over. She'll be so easy for them. She'll be like a playtoy. They'll look at her and they'll say can't believe we got so lucky."

Trump doesn't need the votes because the GOP have been putting electors in place to subvert the will of the people by not certifying the election results.

Anyone who supports trump is a traitor.

    Yes they did.

What's ironic about what Trump says is that it will probably be guys like Putin and Kim Jong Un who will be the ones thinking it will be so easy for them if Trump gets elected. They know just how to smooth talk him with praise to feed his ache for attention. He's more likely to be the one they would love to be able to manipulate into siding with them on foreign policies, and especially for a bit of quid pro quo. They know he has no problem doing business outside the law, and will probably be more apt to do so if he feels his immunity will protect him.

Tired old grandpa is feeling a little racist today. Really sad that Republican voters keep forcing him to leave the house.

He never would've donated those campaign checks to a black woman! Fraud? Sad!
