There's more than enough legit things to insult the couch f**ker for. Him doing Nikolai Volkoff is not among them.
Confirmed White Dudes for Harris (@dudes4harris) was suspended by the platform. Whatever weird reason, it's back now. EDIT: Actually, it's still suspended. 'White Dudes for Harris' X Suspension Sparks Fury: 'Election Interference' - Newsweek A social-media account for white male supporters of Kamala Harris was briefly suspended from X, formerly Twitter, sparking anger online. Newsweek observed that the White Dudes for Harris X account had been temporarily suspended after the group held a star-studded virtual call on Monday night that raised more than $4 million. It is not clear why the account was suspended, but it has been restored as of the early hours of Tuesday. The automated message when the account was suspended read: "X suspends accounts which violate the X rules." White Dudes for Harris on Monday held a Zoom call fundraiser featuring celebrities including actors Jeff Bridges, Mark Ruffalo and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. It also included appearances from Democratic politicians, including Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker. The group said that 190,000 people tuned in to the call. The West Wing actor Bradley Whitford joked on the call that it was like "a rainbow of beige." It was the latest fundraiser call for the Harris campaign among various identity groups, following the success of calls with groups including Black women, white women, and Black men. The fundraising calls are not organized by Harris' team, but they demonstrate the growing grassroots support for her since she became the likely nominee. In recent years, Republicans have generally relied on the support of white working-class men, while Democrats have struggled to attract this demographic. Morales Rocketto, White Dudes for Harris's organizer, told The New York Times that he understood that some people might be uncomfortable with their name. "I don't blame them," he told the paper. "Throughout American history, there's a lot of evidence to suggest that, when white men organize, it's often with pointy hats on, and it doesn't end well. "What we are really trying to do is engage a group of people that the left has largely ignored for the last few years," Morales Rocketto said. "There's a silent majority of white men who aren't MAGA Republicans, and we haven't done anything to try to capture those votes."
You guys, your agenda, and your clerics are pretty f*cking weird though. I mean you obsessed for weeks on a conspiracy theory that Paul Pelosi was beaten in the head with a hammer because of gay lover dispute because you couldn’t comprehend the fact that a MAGA nut would break into the home of the former speaker of the house in order to do her and her husband harm in an act of political terrorism. You guys are freaking weird dude. I know it’s not the most eloquent way to communicate how you guys who are MAGA deep are and how Trump/Vance are but there’s really no other way to describe how bizarre this cult is.
That was mostly Musk who spread that conspiracy, but then some people who follow him just accept it. As I've said plenty of times here: GIGO
Your own infographic tells the truth: Vote Trump (fascism), you get Venezuela. Trump is not a Republican.
Speaking of Musk….I don’t see a ton of separation anymore with the Musk/Theil tech bro way-too-online cult and the MAGA 2024 campaign. The fact that they brought in freaking JD Vance to be his running mate tells you all you need to know. Trump in 16 forged an alliance with the evangelical right. Then he tried to have their VP pick hung when Pence dared defy the king. The tech bros who think they are winning anything more than a tax cut are going to be sorely mistaken. Trump only serves Trump. He’ll throw Vance and ultimately Theil and Musk under the bus in 2 seconds if it benefits him staying in power.
I don't like generalizing tech bros as these few guys. The vast majority of people in tech are quite ordinary and grounded. Musk is just a very weird dude. I don't know Thiel that much. I don't believe Musk is simply a Trump follower or supporter. He has his own weird way of seeing the world. Musk, you know, was abused as a child, and I sometimes wonder if that's shaped his worldview negatively.
Yeah I mean that’s why I mention the evangelicals in 2016. I also think it seems a lot to do with the crypto bitcoin obsession more than it is about tech. I think that one crypto conference awhile back raised 200 million dollars much of which will be used to help Trump. You also might want to do a little research on Peter Theil because of the similarities with Musk that help sort of understand this brand of billionaire that backs Trump and right wing autocratic leaders around the world.
I know a bit about Thiel but I'm seriously not at all interested in knowing more at this time. Pro-Crypto Super PACs combined have raised $230M to support pro-Crypto candidates since 2023 (I think). This isn't for Trump (though they may use it to support him). The recent bitcoin conference itself is technically supposed to be an apolitical conference.
Is there a way to ban someone from a thread? Because it's insanely annoying to have full pages of this thread be a full of stupid tweets from whatever depths of Twitter that weird aroundtheworld dude spends his free time on with absolutely no discussion involved. It's weird, it's low effort, and it's annoying. Get outside more
