Considering JV, Jabreu, and injuries, the amount of prospects we're being forced to dump is borderline torture.

    Without looking.

Who has more extra base hits this year, Altuve or Bregman?

Long overdue, but about damm time, hopefully he gets some regular playing time instead of sitting on the bench.

I have been waiting for this. Can't wait to see his first assist.

I think Leon's 2024 Astros stats end up better than Joey's.

We didn't need to trade Joey to find that out.

I think the front office would have had more credibility with this trade if we didn't mess up the off season this badly... that being said, this trade would not have happened if the offseason was handled right.

Joey needed to be off the team to make room for Pedro, and I am excited to see Leon up. I've calmed down...but still a stupidass trade and if Kikuchi doesn't deliver, Brown needs to be put on the hot seat after the season.

And both would have better stats than Aledmys, Chas, Grae, and Cabbage.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not happy to see Joey go.

But he's gone. Just like many many players over the years.

That doesn't mean I can't be happy to see Pedro who I have been hoping to see in an Astros uniform for 3+ years.

We were literally trotting out Cabbage and his .234 batting average to have regular starts in RF.

I'm with you. I've been wanting to see Leon for awhile. I'm just saying after they asked for Bloss and the said Wagner I would have like ok. At whatever point they asked for Joey I'd have said no. Hopefully this works out. And we all look back on this and laugh. I was so looking forward to the deadline. This just ruined it for me

It's not over yet. Maybe you will like the next one.

There will be at least 1 more deal.

What I thought was weird. When we really needed a starter and they called up Bloss. I thought it would have been Blubaugh. With that I thought ok they must like Bloss better even tho he was lower in the minors. Then recently Brown said Blubaugh was off limits. Did they see something in Bloss from the time he was up they didn't like? Yes I hope if the there is a next trade. I really hope it's better.

Leon is a K machine who doesn’t walk much. We already have several of those in the lineup.

No team trades a young pitcher with that many years of control, who was a higher draft pick, when they like them… no matter what you’re getting in return.

My only question is ‘when’ they started to dislike Bloss. Did they always have questions and tried to orchestrate a PR “drum up his value” campaign with the promotion and undeserved starts? Or was it after they got a closer look at his stuff, work ethic, possible medical issues after he was pulled during the first start?

Either scenario isn’t promising for how things are being evaluated or executed down there.
