If true, and if healthy... Would have to be for someone pretty big I would think, considering Bloss is one of Dana's guys
As pointed out, are there better options? Yes. Will we be able to acquire one of these better options? Who's to say. There's not too many options. This doesn't change the fact that we desperately need a reliable SP who can eat innings and Anderson would certainly do this and he'd be a huge upgrade for us at the bottom of our rotation. Nobody here has been trying to portray Anderson as a TOR pitcher. For some idiotic reason IdStrosfan keeps trying to turn the discussion into something it was never intended to be. If we can't get Snell, or Flaherty, or Crochet or Gausman or Taillon (Fedde already off the board) we still need a reliable SP and Anderson definitely fits that description.
Eh- it makes total sense. He’s not part of any kind of workable rotation in 24. If we got a legit and bonafide MLB pitcher we are fine until the end of the year provided we don’t lose more starters from the current rotation than we gain back from the IL.
Skubal, Gausman or Snell (if Giants eat a portion of the money) are the only three potential deals I’d throw Bloss into the deal for. Edit forgot about Crochet
Gotta be an impact player for Brown to part with his first draft pick to reach the majors on the day he’s supposed to pitch, essentially forfeiting a game.
This joke is worse than the Skenes for Bloss joke from Ben Verlander. This is a joke, right? RIGHT??!??!
