The FF was Marvels FAMILY ORIENTED comic
so it was expected to be goofy

Honestly. . . I REALLY would like to see a Power Pack Movie

Totally agree, but the real question we must ask ourselves:

Can we trust Marvel to choose the right actress to play Victoria von Doom, Queen of Latveria?

    Agree, Doom is the goat.

Good thing they announced his own movie and it’s part of the thread title. ;)

Yep agreed, basically Doom is your GOAT franchise player. Develop him and build around him correctly, and you'll win multiple chips. :D

Disney def used up all their marvel credit.

The MCU should return to fiefdoms like how comics or TV adaptations operated instead of linking everything and everyone together. Killing off characters to remove cluter doesnt work either because if the movie is good, then you're invested in them. If it's crap, you'll never have seen them before or want to forget.

Throwing around cameos like X-Men 97 would make me geek out, but the product is spread thin, and they're not doing crossovers like modok in ant man right anymore.

A lot of unfortunate mean regression back to mediocre 2000s comic book movies. This is mostly self inflicted, though it's definitely hard to make an adaptation that pleases everyone. Robert Rodriguez was a hardcore star wars geek but couldn't bump that boba fatt show to the next level.

What are thoughts on RDJ playing Doom in the next couple of Avengers movies? Mine, two main things:

It is pathetic Marvel decided warming up well-cooked leftovers is the best/safest way to serve up a new and potentially great supervillian who is worthy of 2-3 movies as the lead character. It shows an utter lack of creativity that they couldn't find a fresh actor for the role. You know they must be paying RDJ a fortune!

On the other hand, it could signal Feige & co. realize they've tarnished this valuable IP so badly they must make a hard turn from the ditch and get back on to the road. Maybe there is hope sanity returns and we don't ever see Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, Echo, Kate Bishop and G'iah ever again (and Ironheart never gets released) and from 2026 on, they make entertainment the #1 priority.

But really, the only thing that matters is execution. I could see it going either way.

He nailed Iron Man. Which he needed to do to hold up a weak Thor, Hulk, and Captain America launch. The same has to be done here, but I think more important because the F4 cast is weak. So it's Downey and Story. They both need to be great.

I really hope they don't do the Iron Man as Dr. Doom story from the comics because it was a weak story.

Desperation rarely ends well. It least it would be better than Kang who never seemed a serious threat, but regardless these shitty films will continue to make money.

Which one? There are multiple. I usually only care about stories that are canon/616, but Marvel and their integer universes can create and/or use any number of universes and storylines for this.
