Dude - none of them really matter but Mike Pence was really unpopular. He helped get Trump the Evangelicals but he was very creepy once in office and was routinely made fun of. Best VP’s? Papa Bush? LBJ (if he didn’t kill JFK)? Gore maybe?
Josh Shapiro isn’t who I would pick - I don’t really care for his personality or delivery. Like everything else in politics, I am sure his location (Pennsylvania) and his religion (conservative Jew) are part of the reason why. It will be harder to attack Harris on Israel with Shapiro. Maybe he also helps firm up any concerns in the Northeast. Not sure how Harris does in the South and Midwest.
as I've said, I like Shapiro, but Veeps don't move the needle for most voters. PA voters might want to keep him in PA. BUT, given his steadfast support for Israel, Michigan could be in play. a calculated gamble, perhaps. Hilarious that the Philly Mayor's intern leaked this...
