The Harris campaign is emphasizing how WEIRD Trump is. It's based on reality: boats, batteries and sharks, Hannibal Lecter, magnets, birds... Vance is also very weird.
This can't be emphasized enough. Biden also offered to work with Republicans in Congress and Trump specifically to get the bill passed. Nobody took him up on the offer.
The bi-partisan bill passed in the House. Important to note: the Democrats backed down on their long standing "pathway to citizenship" clause in order to make it happen- which is the only reason Republicans agreed to it. Trump wanted to keep the border crisis a campaign issue and had the Republican Senate shut it down. Does he really care about the border or does he care more about becoming President?
