I really don’t think anyone would want to trade a guard who in his 3rd year was able to put up above league average TS. That shows insane long term potential.

**** then I guess we are stuck with him.

    Are you suggesting waiving him?

No, I would let the season play out. If he’s worse/same/slightly improved i would look to trade him at the deadline but i would not attach anything to move him. Let him go to fra, see what offers he gets and then decide to match or not. If he’s improved a lot, then i would extend him after the season.

Probably none. Even if he's not my favorite player, the scrub you worship has nothing in common with Booker.

Booker showed significant progress and by season 3 he was already better than Jalen is ever likely to be.

Also, you think the "75% of games" talk is "silly".... meanwhile your entire narrative is based on 8 total games.... what would you call that my crayon eating friend?

,that type of hope here expressed doesn't sound like you are describing a player not a single teams like trade for. Like if you still have hope that he can maybe have a max contract after this year, that really sounds like a dude not a single team would trade for?

What? When did i say no team would trade for him? Someone traded for bagley, someone traded for wiseman. Granted both are the pistons. Someone would take a flyer on him for sure

And after the burst he went right back to the mean for the remainder of the season.

Every team has an analytics department so no one is going to get fooled that he's Superman just based on March. He went right back to being Clark Kent.

How is it different than pointing to a hot 11-game streak, attributing it all to JG and using that to prop him up? By your logic you should as easily dismiss that sequence.

Because I don't judge him just on those 11 games?

I don't know why it's 11 games. He was playing well before the winning streak anyways especially with his defense.
It may not be the only thing but I would say having a 15 game stretch better than any Rocket since prime Harden at age 22 is a hopeful thing. As a Rocket fan why would t you be excited about that?

What is it about McMahon that makes him so addicted to talking down the Rockets unless it’s so undeniable that he’s looking like a fool? He’s been doing this since the Harden years. Uses the “I know this will be unpopular but it’s the truth” trick but after a while you realize he’s not like that with all teams.

Is there some beef with him? I wonder where he’s from or where he’s worked in the past.

There are only two ways they are both here long term:

    1) Jalen plays at his peak streak level all season and actually earns the max (unlikely)
    2) Jalen is his normal self then goes into RFA and gets an offer south of the max that the team matches.

I do not see Sengun going anywhere. I am 100% sure he will get the max. Someone will likely offer Jalen more than the team wants to spend on him. He may blow up on another team in the future but if he is his normal Jekyll and Hyde self this season, I see no way the team offers him anywhere close to the max. It would be way too risky to do so unless he plays at his peak the entire season.

"I need to see HOF level play from Jalen Green for a full season before he is worthy"

"Im totally fine with Sengun making baby hooks and never extending his range past 5 feet because he's efficient"

If Booker was so much better than Jalen will ever be in his 3rd season why cant he lead his team anywhere worth being?? I mean a player that good should be a champion by now, right?
