it has been amazing the last two days and luckily i've played some sports the last two days to take advantage of it. it was amazing being outside and it almost feeling cool in the shade. the most amazing thing is the dry air. having lived in houston all 22+ years of my life, i've come to expect humidity and lots of it, but july was ridiculous. the entire month was just suffocatingly humid. every day just walk outside and it hits you in the face. i knew it was different than normal and these last two days confirmed that indeed every once in a while there is some dry air around here and it's damn nice to have. hopefully it last until i go back to school on the 24th and won't be able to take advantage of it like i can now.
I'm not a big fan of resurrecting old threads, but I felt I needed to bring this one back up. People have been telling me to get my umbrella ready for the past week or so "cuz Ivan's comin." Well, I'm looking out the window right now and I see real nice weather. Who woulda thought that at the time this post was started, we'd be in a very similar situation again a month and a half later? And now with autumn here, I'm looking forward to even better (and hopefully cooler) weather.
