Let's send a gift basket to the Los Angeles Angels. This crappy, hopeless franchise did us a solid against the Mariners this year.
Happy the good guys won but sucks we lost 2/3 from the A’s with the Dodgers up next and Texas showing signs of life. I guess win 2/3 from the Dodgers and I’ll be pretty ecstatic
Lose 2/3 to the hapless A's yet gain a game on the Mariners cause they got swept by the Angels lollll
This organization and the way they communicate injuries is just infuriating. I'm just gonna expect Kyle tucker to be out for the season. Smh. Same goes with JV and Luis Garcia.
The A's looked pretty solid and played some good ball. Hopefully they do the same against Seattle and Arlington.
Ever since Chas first came up, I felt that he was a 4th OF with a valuable skillset that will keep him in MLB for 6-8 years but never get him 500 PAs in a season. He is a work over talent overachiever and those players don't tend to last long, frequently because organizations are always trying to replace them with someone more talented who has a ceiling to be better. I want Chas to succeed, but don't think the Astros will give him the chance. And that's why I am always predicting others to play and succeed ahead of him. He had a hell of a year in 2023 and I hoped he would repeat it but didn't think that was the real him. Just a career year - happens all the time. Still, he has been very good for large samples of games multiple times. He can be good again. I hope for it, but don't expect it. FWIW, There are several players out there with awesome tools, that I wish had Chas' work ethic and heart.
I don't get it. Wouldn't you want the roster space all this time to at least bring up someone to get some reps and help the team if possible?
Who'da thunk Seattle couldn't maintain an .800 win% in 1-run games over the course of a full season? Who'da thunk they wouldn't maintain damn near perfect health (see Julio (cool dude) and Crawford... both those guys have been average hitters anyway) over the course of 162? Who'da thunk ?!!! Seattluck has been .400 in its last 12 1-run games, plus mfs are now experiencing injury. The only stopping the dynasty that is the Astros is injuries --- Crane will help solve it before the deadline.
Currently, exactly, right now... maybe. He still hasn't proven 150+ innings of effectiveness. Framber is one dumbass inning away from a 2.75 ERA and All-Star selection -- plus he's a proven horse. If Brown maintains his current production thru October, I ain't mad.
that base loaded (i think) 2 out strikeout of the As hottest hitter in the 2nd inning. High fastball 98mph absolute gas.
