In other words, Astros rotation is subpar. Time will tell how he handles a full season of wear and tear.
Gotta give it to Chas. I have given him a lot of crap this year ( I was very pro- Chas last year) which is deserved, but that means I gotta stand up when he has a good game. I hope this is the start of a great finish for him. The Astros need it from somebody.
I mean the dugout is less than 100 feet away. Sounds like you sit in better seats lol I generally sit in the club section down by the RF foul pole.
Hunter Brown is proving to be the guy we all expected him to be 16 months ago. Feels good. I love watching Jake go get 'em in CF, but that leadoff double in the 1st is a single if the CF has a legitimate arm. AND he really needs to be hitting 8th or 9th. I would still love to see Leon get a shot, but chances are Meyers would have started vs the lefty anyway.
Nice. I like sitting in different parts of the stadium. No bad seats and provides a unique experience each time. Even upper deck seats allow one to track balls better, assess positioning of OFers better, see downtown views (via window) better... That being said, I'll either do club level on 1B side or try to secure lower level behind home plate. May be the kids last game before summer break ends.
Honestly the Rangers are who we should worry about. The Mariners are toast, they will not finish .500 this season.
The Mariners have the best pitching in baseball and WILL add hitting. We probably don't need to worry about today's Mariners but we likely will need to worry about next Wednesday's Mariners.
You were late to the Chas train last year but yes you finally couldn’t deny it anymore. You stepped off that train at the first stop this year. He needs to be more than vs LHP only. He was more than that last year. I don’t think he’ll get the chance this year
They don't have a need for 1 bat, they need a slew of bats though and I don't think there is enough there to get with all the teams fighting for players. I could be wrong.
Why would the rangers sell? They're only 3.5 back with two months to go with a core that's proven in the postseason. I'd sell what's left of the farm and hope lightning strikes twice.
