This all rings hollow to me.

Jalen's circumstances of landing on a team that didn't give any shitzfux or damn's about winning gave him the opportunity to play as much as he did and do so as inefficiently as he has. Yep, he has some really good games. Just not enough of them.

I can't think of another player in history that stayed on the court despite playing poorly 86% of the time.

Stone and Silas didn't care what he did on the court so long as there were a few highlights & L's piled up.

Que Udoka and how many times he has benched the dude for poor play.

Let me tell you the story of the NBA draft lottery and how bad teams every single year draft young lottery talent and place them in a high usage role on **** teams for their first few years.

It's a pretty old story in the NBA.

It happens often and only 8 guys are ahead of him all time.

Notice how I don't think Green's trajectory because of this is "top 10 player of all time" so obviously I'm placing weight on context like the modern era. But every single person besides the two 21 and 22 year olds in the top 25 all time list here made at least one all-star appearance. Every single one.

So I'm saying his trajectory is most likely going to give him one all-star appearance at least. I'm not even saying it's going to be on this team. It very well maybe on his second team.

The awkward moment when that's like 25% of all the good games he's ever played.

Sheesh. Jalen fans just keep lining up for more Ls than their clown idol lines up for bricks from open shots.

You'd think at some point they'd bite the bullet and admit they got it wrong with placing all their trust and hope in the wrong player from that draft class. But nah, they like to make as many bad choices as Jalen himself does. How many kids and baby mummas is he up to now?

As many red flags off the court as there are on with Jalen. Tells you everything you need to know about him.

Sengun is literally the saving grace of this front office and franchise. Can you imagine if they walked away from that draft without Sengun, and only Jalen?

Lmao...one meager AS appearance is not warranting all the threads that has been started just for his sake.....

Let the few remaining Jalen stans have this.

Jalen doesn't give them anything to have with his on court performance.

At least let Jalen provide them with something in their imagination.

It is abundantly clear that he is not a player that can fit many systems but a player you have to tailor-make your system around.

I for one do not intend to do that.

Jalen Green has never been part of a heliocentric offense. What you talking about boo?

Jalen Green isn't the most useless player off ball out of the core. That would be Sengun. And Sengun is still our best player so don't let that statement trigger you.

We have the option to match. I rather we let him leave for nothing with another year under ime and see if he can take it to the next level than panic and trade him for garbage simply bc the jalen haters keep btching about said player.

Great. Let’s find out who that is and trade Jalen to them.

That’s a great plan, and I am sure this is what Stone has in mind, too:

I haven’t quite given up on Jalen. For me, his outside shooting woes are due to his awkward form. He can shoot. His 80+ FT% says he can shoot. That weird left to right draw with the exaggerated front shoulder forward form is broken. Too much going on to be consistent. Watch Curry shoot. No matter how much he bounces around. He gets his shooting elbow under the ball and has the same motion and release with his shooting hand.

Think of it like this, in school you had two different teachers; the one who let the students do what they want and the one who made you do your work.

The one who let you do what you want, you really didn't learn anything but the one who required you to work, you learned and got better at some point. And to me, thats the difference between Silas and Udoka.

Will Jalen ever be efficient, we don't know but can he become a better all around basketball player; rebounding, assist, playmaking, defense, scoring, etc. I think we saw that last yr. I watch all things Rockets, I even watch Rocket's Playback during the off-season and even though he wasn't scoring in some games, he was still playmaking, rebounding and playing defense, things that most people don't see or talk about.

People get hung up on efficiency but if you look at Kobe and T-Mac, early in they're careers, they were considered chuckers. I think this yr Jalen puts it all together .
