    Windhorst also did a profile on the Sudan team (espn article).


    "It's been a humbling journey. I had heartaches, I have a lot of ebbs and flows, and it's a great feeling right now," said Ivey, a 10-year NBA veteran who mentored Deng when he came to the same high school in New Jersey. "A year ago we were practicing outside with eagles flying around while we were practicing and the courts were flooded. Like to go from there to come and play in front of these fans in the Philippines, and I'm on cloud nine right now."

    Coach Ivey and South Sudan barely lost to Team USA by one point. He seems to be a damn good coach. Udoka has an eye for talent.

    Steve Kerr is about to embarrass this country

    And why is Embiid on the team? He’s a full blown trojan horse…his interior defense has been absolute garbage and he looks like he can barely move

    If im not mistaken, Ivey is who @Nook says has been working real closely with Jalen.

    Seems like a damn good coach, hope it pays big dividends for us come next year.

    I can't stand LeBron ever since he literally marked himself chosen one all those years ago.

    But that doesn't make this one international tournament at age 39 the sole proof that he's over hyped (we have plenty of proof for that).
