They certainly actively sought to influence the election. Trump asked them to do more and his campaign had multiple contacts and meetings with Russian officials and agents. I guess it depends on what your definition of "meddle" is.
What constitutes “meddle” is a wide range. The Russians don’t really deny they used social media to try to influence the election. They certainly hacked and released DNC emails. And again Trump himself called for them to do so I don’t think there is any evidence they directly changed any votes though.
Trump’s message before: “Biden is the worst president ever!” Toned down Trump after shooting: “Biden is one of the top ten worst presidents ever!” He toned it down. This is for National Unity y’all!

I don't know if this is just conspiracy theory stuff, but one thing that is weird to me is that the first three shots sound completely different from the next five.
its funny that the people who liked this post also think there was a conspiracy. dumbasses on both sides. pretty much every right winger posting in here is saying that it was an inside job or set-up of some kind. or that there were multiple shooters. most normal people (non-trump supporters) are not buying into the conspiracy theories.

The multiple shooter theory and the staged attempt theory are ridiculous and need to stop being entertained unless something substantial comes out. So we are left with two alternative theories; Three separate random parties stepping into armature hour with the protectee miraculously dodging a bullet -or- some form of setup. Everything indicates sheer stupidity. Unfortunately this reinforces the Teflon Don devine intervention. I can see the local PD being full on incompetent and lackadaisical and if its true these were DHS agents who had no business acting as SS, I can understand that angle. Crooks could have very well had a deep state actor feeding him information (this isn't that far fetched to be honest, but unlikely) or he was a mentally ill kid who wanted to either make a name for himself or plunge the country into pandemonium. Director Cheeto should have resigned and whoever is afraid to fire her only proves their incompetence.
